Mental Health Yoga is a specialist in yoga applied to psychological, emotional and relational issues.
When talk therapy fails, and medication or other institutional methods do not provide real help, Mental Health Yoga intervenes directly on the limbic system by correcting posture and movement. Each workshop is based on an approach founded on self-study through Svadhyaya. This introspective approach allows for a deep understanding of the internal mechanisms at the root of suffering, rather than limiting oneself to symptomatic management. We also incorporate elements of the Indian philosophy of Saṃkhya.
