Our approach in the workplace
Our corporate seminars centre on self-knowledge, mental flexibility and emotional abilities. Svadhyaya and Sāṃkhya provide the philosophical foundation. Appropriate asanas support physical flexibility and posture; conscious breathing connects physical and mental vitality. This connected approach can be related to professional demands, respectful collaboration and personal boundaries.
Three elements – one connected approach
Asanas
Physical flexibility and posture.
Breathing
Connecting physical and mental vitality.
Svadhyaya
Self-knowledge and mental flexibility.
Mental development forms the foundation. Physical yoga and conscious breathing complement and support this process. The seminars complement workplace health management; they replace neither necessary improvements to working conditions nor medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.

Four seminars for everyday working life
Understanding Yourself Better
Self-knowledge as a foundation for self-confidence, inner stability and assertiveness.
People who understand themselves can act more consciously, stand up for their needs and remain composed even in difficult situations.
Our thoughts, emotions, experiences and beliefs influence how we perceive ourselves and our environment, particularly how we interact with other people, but above all how other people interact with us.
This practical seminar offers an approach to self-knowledge based on traditional yoga philosophy, particularly Svadhyaya and Sāṃkhya.
Participants learn to notice and better understand their reactions and patterns of behaviour, and to confidently stand up for their personal boundaries, needs and beliefs.
A particular focus is on preserving inner stability under the influence of others, avoiding unnecessary self-doubt and standing up for oneself appropriately.
These abilities can be of great value in professional life as well as in everyday personal life and interpersonal relationships.
Challenges addressed
Criticism, expectations and the influence of others can make it difficult to recognise personal needs and boundaries and express them respectfully.
What participants learn
Observe personal reactions and patterns of behaviour, clarify needs and beliefs, and assert personal boundaries more consciously.
Practical application
Relate self-observation to specific everyday situations: pause before reacting, clarify your own position and express concerns respectfully.
Potential benefits for companies
Employees who understand themselves better and know their personal boundaries can deal more consciously with criticism, expectations and interpersonal challenges.
Self-confidence, inner stability and the ability to assert oneself respectfully create favourable conditions for constructive collaboration and a positive working atmosphere.
Understanding the Dynamics of Destructive Relationships and Manipulation
Responding appropriately, confidently and constructively.
Interpersonal tensions, manipulation and group pressure can complicate collaboration and undermine confidence. The focus is on recognising specific dynamics without diagnosing or labelling people.
Drawing on Svadhyaya, participants consider both observable situations and their own reactions, expectations and personal boundaries, allowing them to weigh possible responses more consciously.
The seminar connects self-reflection with concrete, respectful ways to express boundaries, respond to pressure and, where needed, seek support from the appropriate workplace contacts.
Challenges addressed
Manipulation, repeated pressure, group dynamics and difficulties in maintaining personal boundaries in relationships or teams.
What participants learn
Distinguish observable behaviour from judgements, notice personal reactions and clarify appropriate boundaries and possible next steps.
Practical application
Describe situations factually, express concerns and boundaries respectfully, and decide when discussion or support from management or HR would be useful.
Potential benefits for companies
A more conscious approach to difficult relationship dynamics can support clearer communication, early clarification and respectful collaboration. The seminar does not replace necessary workplace protection or conflict-resolution measures.
Self-Knowledge, Motivation and Inner Balance
What motivates me? What weighs on me? What strengthens me?
Thoughts, emotions and habits shape how we experience demands and direct our attention. Working life often leaves little room to consciously examine personal motivations and sources of strain.
Through Svadhyaya and traditional yoga philosophy, participants explore their reactions, personal motivation and relationship with stress. The aim is to understand oneself better rather than judge oneself for experiencing difficulties.
Reflection is related to concrete situations in professional and personal life. Participants can recognise what strengthens them, which habits they wish to reconsider and where personal or organisational changes are needed.
Challenges addressed
Stress, conflicting expectations, recurring habits and uncertainty about personal motivation or resources.
What participants learn
Notice thoughts, emotions and habits more consciously and distinguish personal scope for action from external working conditions.
Practical application
Reflect on personal sources of strain and support, clarify priorities and identify realistic next steps for everyday life.
Potential benefits for companies
Self-reflection can support a more conscious response to demands and constructive discussion of strain. Responsibility for healthy working conditions remains with the company and is not shifted to individuals.
A Conscious Approach to Digital Technology
Attention, self-determination and digital habits.
Digital tools make collaboration easier. At the same time, constant availability, notifications and frequent interruptions can make it harder to concentrate and consciously switch off.
Drawing on MHY’s existing work on screens and social media, participants examine their digital habits and the thoughts, emotions and needs associated with them. Svadhyaya provides an approach through self-observation.
The aim is not to reject technology altogether, but to use it more consciously and with greater self-determination. Personal habits and shared expectations around availability are considered separately.
Challenges addressed
Digital distraction, frequent task switching, screen use and the pressure of constant availability.
What participants learn
Recognise triggers and habits in personal screen use and make conscious decisions about attention and availability.
Practical application
Reflect on patterns of interruption, consciously organise periods of focused work and encourage realistic team agreements about availability.
Potential benefits for companies
Conscious use of digital tools can support focused work and clearer expectations in collaboration. It does not replace necessary organisational changes.
Responsible and practical
The seminars complement workplace health management. They replace neither necessary improvements to working conditions nor medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. Participants do not have to share personal experiences with the group.
